These benches are based on a famous design of Sir Edwin Lutyens, one of the most influential and important of all 20th century British architects, which were originally conceived for the garden at Little Thakeham near Storrington, West Sussex, can be found in parks all over the world. This bench reflects the classical, symmetrical style for which Lutyens was known, beautifully enhanced by the natural beauty of the teak wood.

The Teak Double Lutyens Bench is easy to assemble and has dimensions of 66" x 25" x 41"h.

Seat Height: 17.5 in.
Seat Width: 57.5 in.
Seat Depth: 17 in.
Armrest Height: 28.5 in.
Seat Back Height: 24.25 inches in middle, 14.5 on sides.
Top portion of backrest for affixing a plaque: 2.75H x 15W in.

Lutyens Double Bench

The quality of the bench is very good. There is some assembly but only the last step required a second set of hands. The bench uses mortise and tenon joints with stainless bolts and glue you supply. All went well with the delivery as well. I must add that the Chic Teak customer service is FANTASTIC! I received a call from them to alert me the day the bench was to be delivered. After I assembled the bench I found an issue with one of the arm/leg assemblies and emailed them asking the best way to fix it. I am a amateur woodworker. The response I received was not at all what I expected. It said they were not in the business of selling lemons and they shipped a replacement the next day! WOW! Customer service - 6 Stars

Review of Teak Lutyens Double Bench

All went well with ordering bench and quality of bench! The delivery By freight company was disaster. Freight company refused to deliver to my home (he claimed low hanging wires when large trucks, Moving vans, etc come down street frequently.) He parked Approximately 2 blocks from my home. I was forced to have him unload on a busy corner. He refused to use dolly to take box to my Home. We were concerned that box would be stolen or mistaken For trash pickup. My husband '''stood guard'Ū for 1 hour waiting on Friend with trailer to lift heavy box and transport to our house.
