Although the bench is everything I'۪d hoped it would be, there were no instructions. The only sheet that came in the box explained only where the screws went. It did not state in which order the pieces should be put together. The seat should go down before sides are screwed in otherwise you can'۪t lower the seat. It'۪s too wide. Also, all the screws were just loosely thrown in the box!!
