The skiffs used to make these pieces have been used for many years to catch fish that would be sold later in the day to the local markets and some pieces have up to 20 layers of original paint on them.

Chic Teak offers a whole collection of teak boat pieces, and all of them complement each other beautifully. They are crafted in small rural seaside villages on the island of Java by craftsmen that have often been making furniture for several generations.

Beyond words

This is more a a piece of art than furniture. Although fully functional, it has character beyond words and The quality is outstanding. Just beautiful.

Great - I mean great customer service!

The best - we have already bought more products from Chic Teak. Items come delivered safely and damage free. Really nice furniture - almost like a piece of art added to the room. We'۪ve gone with the boat pieces but also did buy some storage type night stands with baskets that are perfect. We started with a purchase of Chic Teak from a 3rd party vendor which was a nightmare. We decided to call and go right to the source of the Chic Teak product - and even though at the time they had no obligation to help us - they did assist us with the other vendor to get things corrected.
